Message From the President

Dear Members,

Hot off the press, the ISSA-UK Chapter has won a very special award for it’s continuing contribution to the UK’s security community.  More to follow at our CISO’s Den event in July – do keep your eyes peeled and come along to find out more!

ISSA International Elections open this week and there are two particular candidates that need our support in the run up to the presidential and directors election.  You should have had an email from ‘”Election Alerts at VoteNet.com on Behalf of ISSA Elections” sent June 1st.  Do make sure you vote, as it’s very important that the UK and indeed all of Europe gain stronger support from international.  If you do have a strong preference, then make sure you only vote for one candidate, as do remember a vote for another candidate in addition is a vote against them.  I’m impartial, but I do wish Ira Winkler and Stefano Zanero the best of luck, as forward thinking presidential candidate and founder of the Italian chapter respectively.

As summer “almost” hits us, we’ve a busy schedule ahead.  We have events in London, Bristol, Leeds and Edinburgh to look forward to.  Please do take a moment to look through the agendas and sign up quickly to those events that are of interest.  The CISO’s Den is less than 6 weeks away and we are expecting a full house, so please do book early.
